The short version: Ordo keeps your puzzles, streaks, and history on your own device. It has no accounts, no ads, and no way to identify you. The only thing it sends out is anonymous, aggregate usage data that helps improve the game — and even that can never be traced back to you.

This policy explains what Ordo (“the app,” “we,” “us”) does and doesn’t do with information when you use it. Ordo is made by an independent developer and published under the name Ordo Puzzles. It applies to the Ordo iOS app and to this website at ordopuzzles.com.

What stays on your device

Everything you do in Ordo — the puzzles you’ve solved, your current streak, your archive, and your settings — is stored locally on your device. Ordo has no servers of its own and no account system, so this information is never uploaded, synced, or sent anywhere. It stays on your phone, under your control.

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. There’s no copy held somewhere else, because there’s nowhere else for it to be.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how people use Ordo — which features get used, where players get stuck, whether an update helped — we use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. TelemetryDeck is built specifically so that the data it gathers cannot be tied to you: any identifier is anonymized (salted and hashed) before it’s sent, it uses no cookies, and it never collects personally identifiable information.

The information sent through TelemetryDeck is limited to things like:

• An anonymous identifier unique to your app installation — not linked to you, your name, or your Apple ID, and not shared across other apps.
• Basic device details, such as device type, iOS version, and app version.
• Simple in-app events, such as completing a daily puzzle, opening the archive, or tapping share — used only in aggregate to see how the app is doing.

We never see who you are, only anonymous totals and trends. For the full detail of how TelemetryDeck handles data, see their privacy policy.

Purchases

Ordo offers a single one-time in-app purchase to unlock the archive. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — Ordo never sees or stores your payment details. The app only learns whether the unlock has been purchased, so it can enable the features you paid for. Apple’s handling of purchase information is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Ordo can send you an optional daily reminder. These notifications are scheduled on your device by iOS — nothing about them leaves your phone, and we don’t collect anything related to them. You can turn reminders on or off at any time in the app’s settings, or in your iOS Settings.

What Ordo doesn’t do

• No accounts, logins, or passwords.
• No collection of your name, email, contacts, location, or photos.
• No advertising and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of personal data — there isn’t any to sell.
• No tracking you across other apps or websites.

Children

Ordo is a calm color puzzle suitable for all ages and contains nothing inappropriate for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either, including children under 13.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example, in the EEA, the UK, or California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data a company holds about you. Ordo doesn’t hold personal data that identifies you, so in practice there’s little to retrieve — but you’re always welcome to reach out with questions. To stop all data collection entirely, you can delete the app at any time.

This site (ordopuzzles.com) is a simple static page hosted on GitHub Pages and uses Google Fonts to render its typeface. It sets no cookies and collects no personal information from visitors. As with any website, the hosting and font providers may process standard technical request information (such as IP addresses) as described in their own policies.

If Ordo’s practices change, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
